History of the Saxx brand
The beginnings:
SAXX Underwear was founded in 2006 in Vancouver, Canada, by Trent Kitsch, a former baseball player and entrepreneur. The idea for SAXX was born during a fishing trip in Alaska. Faced with the discomfort caused by traditional underwear during prolonged activities, Trent Kitsch imagined underwear capable of providing anatomical support while preventing chafing and moisture.
A patented innovation:
To bring his idea to life, he developed a unique technology: the BallPark Pouch™, a hammock-shaped pouch that supports the intimate area without compression or chafing. This innovation became the brand's signature. With the help of designers and textile professionals, he developed a prototype and then launched production after several tests.
Rapid success:
Driven by its innovative concept, the SAXX brand quickly became successful in Canada before rapidly expanding into the United States and then internationally.
It stands out for its focus on men's comfort, its original and unconventional marketing campaigns and its desire to break taboos around men's underwear.
